Mission: Defend the title in the 24H Series Europe
Following last year’s triumph, the Bavarian team’s mission for 2026 is to defend its title. The team will compete in the Europe-wide endurance series with a Porsche 911 GT3 R and a powerful line-up.
The team will contest a total of five races. Jörg Dreisow, Manuel Lauck and Constantin Dressler, who secured victory last year, are also part of the line-up this year. The trio will be supported by two experienced champions during the season: Dennis Marschall, reigning champion in the Bronze Cup class of the GT World Challenge Europe, will take the wheel at the 12 Hours of Mugello. Porsche contracted driver Joel Sturm, who won the LMGT3 classification in the FIA WEC in 2024, will compete as the fourth driver for the Hofkirchen-based team in the remaining races.
The car, drivers and team are now ready to build on the extremely successful previous season. At the 24-hour race in Barcelona, the team celebrated the title in the GT3 classification of the series. In addition, there was also victory in the GT3 Pro-Am classification to celebrate. Successes like these underline that the team is also one of the top teams in endurance racing.
‘I am really looking forward to this year’s season in the 24H Series,’ explains Jörg Dreisow. ‘Last year’s title was my greatest success in motorsport to date, which we achieved through consistent performance throughout the year. We would like to continue at this level this year! With Manuel and Constantin, I have two drivers accompanying me throughout the season, some of whom have been driving with me for a long time. In addition, Dennis and Joel, two extremely fast drivers from whom I can still learn a lot, are part of our line-up.’
The Michelin 24h Series Europe season begins at the end of March with the 12h Mugello, before concluding in September with the 24h Barcelona after five rounds. For the first time, the series will hold a 12-hour race at the Nürburgring in July. All races can be followed on the official YouTube channel of the racing series.
