Imola<\/em> \u2013 Mit zwei Porsche 911 RSR startet Proton Competition am 15. Mai in Imola zum zweiten Saisonrennen der European Le Mans Series ELMS. Nach dem Saisonstart in Silverstone mit H\u00f6hen und Tiefen macht sich das Team mit gro\u00dfen Erwartungen auf den Weg ins Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, der traditionsreichen Rennstrecke in der italienischen Region Emilia-Romagna. F\u00fcr Proton Competition ist es das letzte Rennen vor den 24 Stunden von Le Mans.<\/p>\n

Proton Competition:<\/strong> F\u00fcr das Rennen in Imola hat das Team neue Fahrer an Bord. Im Porsche 911 RSR mit der Startnummer 77 ist Robert Renauer (Jedenhofen) der neue Teamkollege von Porsche-Werkspilot Wolf Henzler (N\u00fcrtingen) und Mike Hedlund (USA).\u00a0 Ein alter Bekannter bei Proton Competition ist der \u00d6sterreicher Klaus Bachler, der in Imola erstmals in dieser Saison Christian Ried (Sch\u00f6neb\u00fcrg) und Gianluca Roda (Italien) im 911 RSR mit der Startnummer 88 unterst\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n

Stimmen zum Rennen<\/strong>
\nWolf Henzler<\/strong> (Porsche 911 RSR #77): \u201eEs ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich in Imola gefahren bin. Das war 2004 im Porsche Supercup, als ich gewonnen habe, und einige Jahre sp\u00e4ter in der Le Mans Series. Die Strecke habe ich als sehr anspruchsvoll und abwechslungsreich in Erinnerung. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Schikane Variante Alta. Da konnte man toll \u00fcber die Kerbs fahren, einige Zehntelsekunden gut machen oder, wenn man etwas zu optimistisch war, auch viel Zeit liegen lassen. Mit Robert Renauer haben wir einen erfahrenen neuen Teamkollegen an Bord.\u201c<\/p>\n

Robert Renauer<\/strong> (Porsche 911 RSR #77): \u201eIch freue mich darauf, mit so einem erfahrenen Team wie Proton Competition in der ELMS fahren zu d\u00fcrfen. Im Porsche Carrera Cup und Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup war ich mit dem 911 GT3 Cup unterwegs, im ADAC GT Masters fahre ich in dieser Saison den 911 GT3 R. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie sich der 911 RSR auf einer so tollen Strecke wie Imola anf\u00fchlt.\u201c<\/p>\n

Christian Ried<\/strong> (Porsche 911 RSR #88): \u201eEine Woche nach Spa, wo wir uns in der WEC ganz gut geschlagen haben, wartet jetzt mit Imola eine weitere traditionsreiche Rennstrecke. Wir haben uns f\u00fcr dieses Rennen viel vorgenommen. Nach dem etwas ungl\u00fccklichen Saisonauftakt in Silverstone hoffen wir, dass wir dort mit dem 911 RSR besser aussehen werden und ein gutes Ergebnis herausfahren k\u00f6nnen. Ein Platz auf dem Podium ist unser Ziel.\u201c<\/p>\n

Die Rennstrecke<\/strong>
\nDas Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari liegt in der N\u00e4he von Bologna. Auf der 4,909 Kilometer langen Rennstrecke, die der legend\u00e4re Enzo Ferrari Anfang der 1950er Jahre als \u201ekleinen N\u00fcrburgring\u201c bauen lie\u00df, wurde bis 2006 der Grand Prix von San Marino ausgetragen. Rekordsieger mit sieben Erfolgen ist Michael Schumacher, der auch den Streckenrekord h\u00e4lt. Bekannt ist die Strecke vor allem wegen so legend\u00e4ren Kurven wie Tamburello, Rivazza und Aque Minerale.<\/p>\n

Das Auto<\/strong>
\nDer 470 PS starke Porsche 911 RSR, mit dem Proton Competition in der ELMS am Start ist, basiert auf der siebten Generation der Sportwagenikone 911. Das Siegerauto der Langstreckenklassiker in Le Mans, Daytona und Sebring ist der schnellste Neunelfer aller Zeiten und zeichnet sich durch konsequenten Leichtbau und eine ausgefeilte Aerodynamik aus. F\u00fcr die Saison 2016 wurde es in verschiedenen Details \u00fcberarbeitet, vor allem bei der Aerodynamik.<\/p>\n

Die Serie<\/strong>
\nIn der European Le Mans Series sind die Klassen LMP2, LMP3 und GTE am Start. Sie fahren jeweils gemeinsam in einem Vierstundenrennen, werden aber getrennt gewertet. Proton Competition startet mit dem 911 RSR in der Klasse GTE.<\/p>\n

European Le Mans Series (ELMS), Round 2 in Imola\/Italy<\/em><\/p>\n

Imola<\/em> \u2013 Proton Competition starts with two Porsche 911 RSR on May 15 in Imola in the second race of the season of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). After the start of the season in Silverstone with ups and downs, the team comes with high expectations to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, the race track with a rich tradition in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna. For Proton Competition, it\u2019s the last race before the 24 Hours of Le Mans.<\/p>\n

Proton Competition:<\/strong> The team has new drivers aboard for the race in Imola. In the Porsche 911 RSR with starting number 77, Robert Renauer (Jedenhofen) is the new teammate of Porsche works driver Wolf Henzler (N\u00fcrtingen) and Mike Hedlund (USA). An old acquaintance of Proton Competition is the Austrian Klaus Bachler, who supports Christian Ried (Sch\u00f6neb\u00fcrg) and Gianluca Roda (Italy) in the 911 RSR with starting number 88 in Imola for the first time in this season.<\/p>\n

Comments about the race<\/strong>
\nWolf Henzler<\/strong> (Porsche 911 RSR #77): \u201cIt has been a while since I last raced in Imola. It was in 2004 in the Porsche Supercup, when I won, and several years later in the Le Mans Series. I remember the circuit as very demanding and rich in variety. I especially liked the chicane Variante Alta. There, you could terrifically drive over the kerbs, make up several tenths of a second or \u2013 if you were a bit too optimistic \u2013 lose a lot of time as well. With Robert Renauer, we have an experienced new teammate aboard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robert Renauer<\/strong> (Porsche 911 RSR #77): \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to being able to drive with such an experienced team as Proton Competition in the ELMS. The race circuit<\/strong>
\nThe Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari is situated close to Bologna. On the 4.909 kilometers long race track, which was built under the legendary Enzo Ferrari at the beginning of the 1950s as \u201csmall N\u00fcrburgring\u201d, the Grand Prix of San Marino was held until 2006. Record winner with seven successes is Michael Schumacher, who also holds the lap record. The track is especially known because of legendary corners such as Tamburello, Rivazza and Aque Minerale.<\/p>\n

The car<\/strong>
\nProton Competition is going to start in the ELMS with the Porsche 911 RSR with 470 PS, which is based on the seventh generation of the iconic 911 sports car. The winning car of classic endurance races in Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring is the fastest 911 of all times and is characterized by consistent lightweight construction and sophisticated aerodynamics. For the season 2016, it was reengineered concerning various details, especially aerodynamics.<\/p>\n

The series<\/strong>
\nIn the European Le Mans Series, the classes LMP2, LMP3 and GTE are at the start. They all drive together in a four hours race, but are rated separately. Proton Competition starts in the GTE class with the 911 RSR.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
